SK3040 : The Hermitage Kedleston Hall

taken 7 years ago, near to Kedleston, Derbyshire, England

The Hermitage Kedleston Hall
The Hermitage Kedleston Hall
This small building was restored in 2016, but was built in the 1700's. It was one of several "incidents" on the long walk where people could take a rest.

It is still surrounded by fencing as the ground around is being planted to bring it back to what the National Trust think it was like. The same is true of the restored small building as no one has any idea of what it looked like when it was built in the 18th century.
