Stockton Road entering Sedgefield
The road is approaching the village from the south-east. The blue and yellow road sign announces entry into Sedgefield and that it is twinned with Hamminkeln in North Rhine-Westphalia; the style of the sign is one introduced some years ago in County Durham.
