Slate tips
Contrasting colours between the purple-grey of the waste slate and the bleached grass of the mountain grazing. Trees are gaining a foothold slowly, and a great deal of material has been removed from the lower part of the tip here. It is a valuable material nowadays, with crushed slate much in demand for landscaping and hardcore.
