Guidestone, Trebant Bridge
Guidestone, Trebant Bridge
I suppose if I was serious about recording historic objects I would have removed the cones on this stone, but I tend to photograph things as they appear. SX1657 : Ancient and modern is more helpful for the historian. "Circa early C19. Granite post with narrow black and wide white painted bands. Inscribed with simple upper case serif lettering indicating directions to Liskeard, Lostwithiel, Fowey and Looe" LinkExternal link . The bridge also listed, is across the road - see SX1657 : Trebant Bridge.
