SE1422 : The front of Grove Mills, Clifton (Brighouse)

taken 7 years ago, near to Brighouse, Calderdale, England

The front of Grove Mills, Clifton (Brighouse)
The date is 1864. The caption on the 1:500 plan of 1889 shows that it was then a cotton mill. The carved name of the building has a full stop after it - a convention that I have often seen on old music scores and advertisements.
