taken 3 years ago, 5 km from Craggie, Highland, Great Britain

Upper Glen Sletdale, Sutherland
Upper Glen Sletdale, Sutherland
The upper reaches of Glen Sletdale, an uninhabited valley in the northern Scottish Highlands. It is very remote. There are no buildings or roads in this glen. No view of civilization and no mobile phone signal. Not even fences. The only paths are deer tracks and the stream water flows crystal clear. The last wild wolf in Great Britain is reputed to have lived here before it was killed.
