SO4971 : Woodcroft

taken 15 years ago, near to Batchcott, Shropshire, Great Britain

Three common cottages just inside Shropshire. The common has been bracken choked birch woods for as long as I can remember. As soon as the oaks marking the county boundary is passed the conifers take over.

-- 2018 update
The cottage shown has now been demolished and a modern house built on the site. It used to have three rooms and an outside toilet at the bottom of a large garden.
