The extensive regeneration of Birmingham city centre includes these tall structures, busy today in the Chamberlain Square area near the Town Hall. This is where the former concrete clad city library has been demolished less than forty years after being built!

Update: The construction company Carillion went into administration on 15 January 2018, so there are likely to be delays in the progress of major developments in central Birmingham.
