Pascoe's Shaft Engine Houses
Standing on the western edge of the mining complex surrounding Marriott's shaft at South Wheal Frances and looking out towards Newton Moor you can see two earlier engine houses. The one on the right housed a pumping engine and the one further away housed a winding engine, both served a mine shaft known Pascoe.
