Memorial to The Ganjou Brothers and Juanita, Streatham Park Cemetery
I had never heard of The Ganjou Brothers and Juanita when I spotted this memorial to them. As they were said to be "The World's Greatest Variety Act" I wanted to find out more. Information can be seen at LinkExternal link (the answer to access the rest of the article is Einstein) and their act can be seen at LinkExternal link

Streatham Park Cemetery opened as the Great Southern Cemetery in 1909. Up to the Second World War, Streatham Park Cemetery accounted for one fifth of all burials in South London. It is a strange mixture with colourful gardens of remembrance near the entrance in Rowan Road, large mausolea just inside the entrance and a 'street' of even larger mausolea, many to Italians, beyond the war memorial.

The memorial to The Ganjou Brothers and Juanita is on the outside wall of the crematorium on the side nearest to the war memorial. As can be seen from the photograph, it is not the easiest subject to photograph because of the reflection - this was the best of several attempts.
