Wood pasture in St Helen's Park
Wood pasture in St Helen's Park
The park is a local nature reserve (LNR). The white flowers here are wood anemones normally associated, as the name indicates, with woodland, but growing in the open here. In the past many of what are today regarded as woodland plants often grew in more open situations as well.
