When the Keldy Castle Estate was sold in 1893 this farm was still standing and described as Stone built and Pantiled, 2 stories in height and contains, Kitchen, Parlour, Back Kitchen and Dairy, and 2 Bedrooms over. The farm buildings are also listed. In the 1948 sale of the estate Wardle Green is rented out as a Sheep Stray on moor. No house or buildings.
