Looking recently renovated externally in April 2017, Tŷ Du House was built in 1896.
Literally meaning Black House, Tŷ Du is the Welsh name for Rogerstone.
Formerly this building was at different times the premises of Zeera Bangladeshi & Indian cuisine restaurant seen here Link in January 2014 and Beijing Masala Indian & Chinese restaurant & takeaway seen here Link in October 2009. An earlier occupier was The Old Globe pub.
