Flying from the airfield
Flying from the airfield
Looking across part of the former airfield of RAF Acaster Malbis. Construction began in 1941 as a grass airfield and in 1943 upgraded to having three concrete runways. The cars are a group of model aircraft enthusiasts who were flying radio controlled planes over the airfield.
