Hornbeam Park station
Built in the early 1990's to serve Harrogate College and the Oatlands area of Harrogate. The platforms could not be accommodated opposite each other so were split one on each side of Hookstone Chase. Here the down (York bound) platform is viewed from the up platform (to Leeds). The bridge carries Hookstone Chase.

Harrogate Line (provided by N Chadwick)
The Harrogate Line is a rail line through parts of North Yorkshire and the West Yorkshire Metro area connecting Leeds to York by way of Harrogate and Knaresborough. The service is operated by Northern Rail, with a few additional workings by East Coast. Metro's bus and rail MetroCard ticket is available for journeys between Leeds and Harrogate. The line opened in 1848.

Hornbeam Park station opened on 24 August 1992 by British Rail under the Regional Railways sector, and is in the southern suburbs of Harrogate on the Harrogate Line, operated by Northern who provide all passenger train services.
