Church of All Saints: Royal Arms
Above the Devil's door in the North Aisle.
This is a generic set of Royal Arms, said to be designed for 1977 Silver Jubilee.
Church of All Saints, Moulton
The present church dates from about 1180, though the church guide book says there may have been a wooden Saxon church nearby before that. There was a lot of work in the 14th and early 15th century, in 1777, and a restoration in 1868.

The church is that astonishing thing, a grade I listed building, and deservedly so. The listing can be found at LinkExternal link

The church largely escaped the attention of the Iconoclasts, and has an original carved Rood screen said to date from about 1425.

There is an astonishing "Adam and Eve" font of 1719 whose pillar is supported by statues of our supposed progenitors. Traces of the paint applied in 1800 can still be seen on the carved panels of this font. It was carved after a design of Grinling Gibbons by William Tudd. The Gibbons original is in St James' Piccadilly, London.
