The 'Jubilee Tree' was planted for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee on 22nd of June 1897. It is probably the Golden-Leaved Sycamore Tree, Acer pseudoplatanus 'Worleei', also spelt 'Worleii' or even 'Worley', a cultivar of the common sycamore discovered and commercialised in Germany around 1879.
