taken 7 years ago, 3 km from Sadgill, Cumbria, England

Spoil heaps from small quarries
Spoil heaps from small quarries
The small quarry spoils in view are two of a number around the head of Longsleddale. There are much larger ones in the district and in the same valley; one of them, Wrengill Quarry, is just out of view at the top right of the image where some spoil can just be detected.
