Bempton railway station is located on the Yorkshire Coast Line. It is located on the single track section between Hunmanby and Bridlington and is the nearest railway station to the RSPB nature reserve at Bempton Cliffs.

The Yorkshire Coast Line is a railway line. It runs northwards from Hull Paragon to Bridlington and Scarborough calling at other intermediate stations. The line dates from 1846.
