Sloth overpainted with bees
The Street Art in Stevenson Square is normally changed every three months but the tribute to David Bowie SJ8498 : Street Art in Stevenson Square had been on display for a year. It was replaced in mid-May by an image of Sloth SJ8498 : Sloth replaces Bowie by the artist Qubek. It was completed in an hour and a half during heavy rain Archive Link
A few days later the artist returned and painted Bowie's iconic Aladdin Sane thunderbolt right across Sloth's mush. Link
On the Wednesday after the tragic event at Manchester Arena, he overpainted it with this image that shows two hands making a heart with the letters "MCR" beneath it and bees - a symbol of Manchester - flying around.
