Yellow field at Kew Gardens
Yellow field at Kew Gardens
When the lake in Kew Gardens was drained and cleaned a couple of years ago, the silt was dumped on this area. It was levelled again, but since then each year has been planted as a small arable field with a crop and wild flowers. This year it has a mixture of a late flowering rape and various yellow daisy-like flowers, to make it a solid splash of yellow.
