NO6847 : A Plethora of Warnings

A Plethora of Warnings
A Plethora of Warnings
One wonders why the roads authority thought it necessary to put three separate signs here warning about loose chippings and restricting speed to 20 mph. Surely one would have been adequate? Are there so many blind motorists? Or motorists so forgetful that they need a reminder after 5 and then again after about 25 metres further on? Or is this obscure rural dead-end road a hotbed of motorists charging along at 21 mph? Or did the crew just have too many signs with them, and decided it was easier to park them on the verge rather than take them away again? Never mind, at least the road surface has been repaired. We must be grateful for small things.
