SK2384 : Bouldering in Stanage Edge

taken 8 years ago, 3 km from Hathersage, Derbyshire, England

Bouldering in Stanage Edge
Bouldering in Stanage Edge
Bouldering is climbing without the use of ropes or other equipment except for a bouldering pad (in effect a mattress) on which the climber can if necessary fall. This chap made three attempts that I saw and fell each time at about the same point. It was rather like watching a beetle trying to climb out of the bath!
