Church of St George, Kelmscott, Oxfordshire
The church is Grade II* listed LinkExternal link Parts date back to the 12th century. A feature that helps indicate the great age of the church is the presence of mass- or scratch-dials on the porch entrance. These helped people have a rough idea of the time before the invention of mechanical clocks. The graves of William Morris and his family can be found in the churchyard.
