Boundary stone on Kinnerton Bridge
Boundary stone on Kinnerton Bridge
This Cheshire West & Chester 2010 boundary stone was erected to commemorate the 2009 Local Government boundary changes, which created that local authority. The initials 'JE' represent John Ebo who was Chester Mayor from 2009/2010. The county, and the England/Wales country boundary follows the centre of the stream below the bridge. An earlier Chester 1989-90 B.S. is located some distance further east, and nowhere near the actual boundary - SJ3462 : A Chester Boundary Stone in front of Bridge farm, Kinnerton.
