Trent Bridge: a wet end to the pink-ball match
English County cricket experimented with nine day-night four-day matches, using a pink ball, in late June 2017. The weather was not kind and after two wet days Nottinghamshire's match against Kent was called off as a draw late on the fourth evening, with Notts only 75 runs from victory. Not many spectators were left on the ground by this time.
