Lincoln City Knight
Knight in Minster Yard on the Lincoln Knight's Trail 2017 by Leah Goldberg, inspired by the local pride in Lincoln City Football Club and their remarkable achievements in the 2016-17 season.
The Imps finished the season as champions to secure promotion back to the Football League and enjoyed a fantastic run in the FA Cup, with giant-killing wins over Brighton & Hove Albion in the fourth round and a 1-0 victory at Premier League Burnley in the fifth round. As the first non-league side to reach the quarter-finals for 103 years, they were eventually beaten 5-0 by Arsenal, having secured a place in FA Cup history.
