Knight standing on the site of the south tower of the east gate barbican to Lincoln Castle by Amy Sayer, he represents a guardian knight of Lincoln, 800 years after the Battle of Lincoln in May 1217.

To celebrate the 800th anniversary of the Battle of Lincoln and the sealing of the Charter of the Forest, there are 36 sculptures, painted by various artists across Lincoln city centre between May and September 2017.
