Downstream from Drypool Bridge
Downstream from Drypool Bridge
Looking downstream from Drypool Bridge along the River Hull. Ahead is the Scale Lane Bridge and behind that, the Myton Swingbridge which carries the A63. The large structure in the background is the tidal barrier which can be closed to prevent tidal surges entering the river system and causing flooding upriver.
