Hull AEC Regal III at the Streetlife Museum of Transport
The Streetlife museum of transport LinkExternal link opened in 1989 in Hullís museum quarter. The museumís collection includes veteran cars, horse-drawn carriages and objects relating to local public transport. It has a range of five scenic galleries, displaying the objects in a visual context. The Streetscene Gallery is, not surprisingly, where you walk along a busy street of reconstructed shops. There is a cycle shop, a Yorkshire chemist shop and a Hull Co-operative shop from the 1930s. One of the highlights is this AEC Regal III (KKH 650) with Weymann coachwork which was delivered new to Hull Corporation in 1949.
