SH3963 : View from the north end of Ynys Llanddwyn

taken 7 years ago, 4 km SW of Niwbwrch, Isle of Anglesey/Sir Ynys Mon, Wales

View from the north end of Ynys Llanddwyn
View from the north end of Ynys Llanddwyn
The view is across the tidal gap between the island and 'mainland' Anglesey with Newborough Forest in the background. The famous pillow lavas can best be seen in the rock stacks to the right of centre, whilst the blasted volcanic fragments form a link between the island and other rock outcrops in the centre of the photo.
