Opened in 1885 by the Great Western Railway on the Exe Valley line from Stoke Cannon to Dulverton, this station closed in 1963. It was named 'Cadeleigh & Bickleigh' until 1906.
View north towards West Exe Halt, Tiverton and Dulverton from slightly further back than SS9307 : Remains of Cadeleigh station, 1984 some 33 years previously. The station had become the focus of the Devon Railway Centre when this image was taken, with both goods shed and station building being extant.
