TQ1649 : Dorking from Ranmore

taken 1 year ago, near to Dorking, Surrey, Great Britain

Dorking from Ranmore
Dorking from Ranmore
A view of the town (or part of it, rather) from high on the North Downs. Dorking has grown up in the Mole Gap, where the River Mole flows north between Box Hill and the Ranmore downs.

The spire is that of St Martin's church - perhaps Dorking's best-known landmark.
