The industrial relic is alongside the A4046 in Cwm. The Coflein website states that this is an 1893 Hathorn Davey horizontal tandem-compound pumping engine. It was removed from a chamber beneath a winding engine house at the former Marine Colliery. The engine's cylinders are 36 inches and 68 inches in diameter with a stroke of 120 inches.
