Former General Hospital, Nelson Street, Hereford
Former General Hospital, Nelson Street, Hereford
By William Parker, 1781-83, the wings raised in 1833-34. The unsightly porch comes courtesy of F.R. Kempson, 1887. Grade II listed.
In 1796 the Hereford Guide described the Infirmary as "commodious and elegant". Despite this, only 206 years later it closed, and it has since been converted to housing.
