Eastbourne is noted for its floral displays. This view is just north of the Wish Tower and is on the pedestrian promenade below Grand Parade. Work on building Eastbourne Pier began in 1866 and it was opened in 1870, although not actually completed until 1872. It is Grade II* listed.
