Wergins Bridge near Sutton St Nicholas
Not much to look at, but of interest because it was built using the Kahn ferro-concrete system which was new at the time. By Gavin Jack, 1912-13. See also SO5244 : Wergins Bridge.
A plaque commemorating the centenary of its opening records that it was "originally tested with two traction engines weighing 30 tons [and] was the longest single span bridge in the County of Herefordshire."
It carries a minor road over the River Lugg.
