3 Church Street, Framlington
Grade II Listed bistro with a 16th century core and late 19th or early 20th century front. Currently (2017) Lemon Tree Bistro it has previously been a Co-operative Wholesale Society Shop, Rossini's Restaurant, Bulstrodes (mid 1990s-2000) and the White Lyon/Lion Public House. CAMRA suggests the White Lion in Church Street opened pre-1686 and closed post 1912 and quotes references to the pub in the Ipswich Journal in 1742, 1744 and 1749 although no mention is made there of the location.
