The Standard Bearer, Stevenage
The Standard Bearer, Stevenage
J D Wetherspoon pub in the heart of this new town, close to the bus station. The 'Standard Bearer' name apparently refers to Roman centurions marching behind their standard bearer along what was to become the Great North Road through Stevenage.
