Flooded North Quarry
Flooded North Quarry
A view from the western rim of the flooded North Quarry, looking over the Ogwen valley and wooded hills of Braich Melyn. This is all that remains of the huge, terraced amphitheatre of the old quarry which was abandoned due to ground instability, and the southern part of the quarry has been buried in tips arising from the new South Quarry.
