SU5578 : The Four Points Inn

The Four Points Inn
The Four Points Inn
The building stands at a cross-roads, and hence the name. The B4009 - running north and east towards Streatley - is crossed by a minor road running NW towards Compton. It occurs to me that in Kent (a county I know much better than I do West Berkshire) a cross-roads pub might well be called the Four Wents.

Behind the camera there is a really spacious car park - a real blessing for a country pub in times when (sadly) many struggle to survive.
