East Leading Light, Sinclair Road, Torry, Aberdeen Harbour
Also known as Torry 1, the East Leading Light is an octagonal light tower built in 1842 of riveted iron. It forms a pair with the West Leading Light (Torry 2) of almost identical construction, also from 1842, about 250 yards to the west.
The ship to the right of the tower is the offshore supply ship 'Highland Chieftain'.
