Stanley Terrace, Millwood
An upper elevation view of the dormers and roofline of this row of terraces on the A646 Halifax Road. The blue plaque visible underneath the first floor window in the lower right of the image commemorates the birthplace of Sir John Cockcroft 1897-1967, who along with Ernest Walton, was awarded the Noble Prize for Physics in 1951 for splitting an atom nucleus.
