NS3075 : Final day of the Inchgreen Drydock cranes

taken 1 year ago, 3 km from Greenock, Inverclyde, Great Britain

Final day of the Inchgreen Drydock cranes
Final day of the Inchgreen Drydock cranes
The three landmark cranes at the dock which were demolished by explosion the day after this photo was taken. These two cranes on the left were moved to the nearby Great Harbour to be demolished, the third one (in the distance) remained on the east side of the drydock. The one on the left is not original, it replaced an earlier one which succumbed to the January 1968 gale.
