SH3393 : Shingle bank at Cemlyn
taken 5 years ago, near to Llanfairynghornwy, Isle of Anglesey/Sir Ynys Mon, Great Britain

Shingle bank at Cemlyn
The western end of the shingle bank which separates the Cemlyn lagoon from the open sea. In early July the bank itself was out of bounds to walkers to protect nesting terns, but unfortunately in 2017 the tern colonies had been decimated by otters. The decommissioned Wylfa nuclear power station in the distance.
