The Rundle Beck issues just off to the left in the photograph and flows along this little valley down to Stathern. It forms part of the important natural drainage system across the Vale of Belvoir, eventually joining The Grimmer in SK7535 forming the River Whipling, see SK7535 : New Footbridge, near Granby, Nottinghamshire There are usually sheep, cattle or horses in these meadows but they were empty today.
