Langley Detached Windpump from Gariannonvm Roman Fort, Burgh Castle
Known as Red Mill it is a late 19th century Grade II Listed windpump built between 1840 and 1880. 20th century windows and thatched extension. Electricity became available at the mill in 1938 and it ceased operation in 1940. Eastern Daily Press reported in September 1983 about plans to convert the windpump into a home.
