Rare diesels at Kidderminster Depot
Rare diesels at Kidderminster Depot
The Severn Valley Railway's splendid diesel depot at Kidderminster is currently temporary home to a Clayton Class 17 D8568. This strange beast is now unique, the sole survivor of a class introduced in 1965 and one which was singularly unsuccessful. Now cherished and operating at Chinnor. The locomotive on the right is a Class 25 Hymek, once used widely on former Great Western lines. The recent Peep Behind the Scenes event allowed the public in, just for one day.
