Upper Carnoch Memorial to the Massacre of Glencoe, sculpted by Macdonald of Aberdeen, 1883, a tapering Celtic cross soaring up from a rugged cairn near the scattering of older cottages above the river.

Cuimhnich - (Gaelic meaning remember) is prominently located on the wreath laid at the Glencoe Memorial Cross each year and on the plaque at the base of the cross. Each February 13th for over 300 years Clan Donald has remembered the 1692 Glencoe Massacre.
