Wigtown Mercat Cross
Also known as the New Market Cross, it was erected in July 1816 to mark the site of the ancient market place and place of proclamation. It is an octagonal granite market cross and is situated at the west end of The Square, between North and South Main Streets. It is a Category B listed building. Link
